She was cast in comedy-film ‘Zack and Miri Make a Porno’ (2008), followed by sci-fi film ‘Princess of Mars’ (2009). Lords starred in 2000’s ‘Epicenter’ and romantic-comedy ‘Chump Change,’ the latter fetching her award. Following her guest-appearances in series ‘Nash Bridges,’ and ‘Viper,’ Lords played a recurring role as ‘lawbreaker’ in crime-drama series ‘Profiler’ (1997-1998), and a regular role in sci-fi drama-series ‘First Wave’ (2000-2001). Lords’ debut film was comedy-horror ‘Not of This Earth’ (1988), after her guest-appearance in series ‘Wise Guy.’ She appeared with Johnny Depp in successful comedy-musical ‘Cry Baby’ (1990), which brought her recognition.

After she was found to be underage and her films were banned, Lords turned towards mainstream cinema. Traci Lords (aka Nora Louise Kuzma) started her screen-career at 15, earning a name in adult-film industry.
